Howard Seltzer

Since joining FDA in 1998 as National Education Advisor in the Office of Food Defense, Communication and Emergency Response in the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition, Howard has developed or helped develop numerous consumer education campaigns including egg safety, juice safety, food defense and security, food safety for seniors, and National Food Safety Education Month, among other projects. He assisted in the development of the AMA/CDC/FDA/USDA Diagnosis and Management of Foodborne Illnesses: A Primer for Physicians and represents the agency on the Partnership for Food Safety Education, the National Coalition for Food Safe Schools, and the Coalition of Organizations for Disaster Education.
